Located in Plaza Midwood, the Charlotte Museum of History is a fascinating place to reconnect with the area’s history. Located on eight acres in the Midwood Plaza area, there are six galleries and a 1774 Homesite. If you’re new to the area or a seasoned local, we know a Charlotte museum is waiting for you. Outdoorsy, adventurous travelers can spend the entire day at Crowders Mountain State Park, but keep in mind there's a small fee to stay overnight in one of the campgrounds.
